Arena hire terms and conditions

Please read the following Terms & Conditions of arena hire. These apply to all bookings at Iverley Park and must be agreed to hirer prior to any event or hire. All riders and spectators must adhere to the following terms and conditions at all times. Confirmation of any hire is deemed to be acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Iverley Park do not accept any responsibility or liability for any injury, accident, damage or illness to any person, property or animal whatsoever, or for any loss whatsoever, arising out of, or occurring during any use of the facilities, to the fullest permitted by law.
Users are not permitted to bring on to the premises, any horses/ponies that are showing any signs of illness (coughing, discharge etc) or experiencing any form of contagious illness/disease (e.g., equine herpes, flu, strangles etc) or which are stabled at yards with confirmed cases of such.
It shall be a condition of use of any of the facilities on site that each user shall indemnify the owners, operators and any associated company or third parties against any claim or legal action whatsoever arising out of any use or accident. This indemnity will cover any and all costs including any professional or legal fees to defend any such claims.
You acknowledge it is solely your responsibility to have in place full comprehensive insurance to cover yourself, your horse and your transport, including any other property that may be damaged as a result of your participation and this insurance, in addition, should extend to provide cover to all third party and public liabilities.
Everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of any Iverley Park employee or representative.
First Aid will not be provided by Iverley Park. Please report any accidents to Iverley Park asap so an accident form can be completed.
All fees must be paid in full on booking.
Hire is £20 per hour, for two horses/ponies and their riders, further horses within the hour are extra £5 each, no more than three horses/ponies in arena at one time, unless agreed/negotiated before booking.
Do not enter the arena before your session begins and ensure you leave at the correct time. Upon entering or leaving please be mindful of other horses and riders waiting to leave or enter.
All riding instructors should have their own insurance which will need to be provided upon request.
Commercial trainers, coaches, teachers, instructors or any person acting in a similar capacity are considered to be a ‘Principal User' and are responsible for ensuring any riders under their supervision adhere to these terms.
All bookings are non-refundable. If cancelled up to 7 days prior to the hire date then, at the discretion of Iverley Park, the hire date may be transferable, where possible. If cancelled 7 days or less before the hire date all fees already paid will be forfeited.
Due to circumstances beyond Iverley Park’s control, it may be necessary to change or cancel your booking. Where the change is considered major as decided by Iverley Park you will be offered the option to accept the change or receive a full refund of any monies paid against the booking. Iverley Park is not responsible for any other costs, expense or damages which may have been incurred by the client or their guest as a result of the change.
Hirers must stick to their allocated time slot, including cleaning/ clearing up, as to not interfere with any following bookings.
Use of the arena is at the hirer’s risk. All hirers are advised to check arena before entering to ensure that it has been left in safe condition by the previous occupant.
All clients are deemed responsible and must ensure full compliance with relevant Health and Safety Policies. Iverley Park reserve the right to halt any actions which we consider to be unsafe.
It is mandatory for all riders to wear a protective helmet to current British Horse Society standards at ALL times when mounted on site. This helmet must be fastened and well fitted. Body protectors are strongly advised and suitable footwear worn.
Iverley Park strongly advise that all riding activity undertaken should be at yours and your horses capability.
No loose schooling or lunging allowed in the arena.
No exercise or riding activity should take place outside of the arena.
A mounting block is provided for your convenience however Iverley Park accepts no responsibility for any injury, accident, damage caused.
Horses must be properly secured when in their lorries or trailers, ensuring the horses welfare is a priority.
Under no circumstances may horses/ponies be left unattended when tied up to horse boxes/trailers. Horses/ponies must not be tied up to any part of the premises at any time
Parking of cars and horse transport, including lorries and vehicles with trailers is only allowed in designated areas or a directed by Iverley Park representatives.
Iverley Park take no responsibility for any damage to any vehicle, lorry or associated trailer and take no responsibility for any damage or loss to any equipment or possessions which are brought onto site. The use of the car park and associated access roads is solely at your own risk.
This is a no smoking site. Please do not smoke at any time on the site.
All clients and their guests and customers are required to adhere to commonly accepted standards of decency and good behaviour. Racial abuse, discrimination, swearing and loud or aggressive conduct will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to refuse admission to any person without giving reason.
Users must not take any glass or breakable objects into any of the facilities. All items taken onto the facilities must be removed at the end of the hire period
No mucking out onto parking area.
Please poo pick during/after you hire.
Litter is to be taken home with you.
Parents/guardians are fully responsibly at all times for the Health and Safety of children within their care when on site. Children under 18 must be supervised at all times by a competent adult when on site.
The BTRC reserve the right to request that users leave the premises in circumstances where in the opinion of the BTRC and/or its management; a user is creating a dangerous situation, riding in a dangerous manner, is mistreating a horse, acting irresponsibly and/or is displaying rude or inappropriate behaviour. Where a user is asked to leave, they must stop using the facilities, immediately return to their mode of transport and remove any horses/ponies and themselves from the premises. Under such circumstances, no refund will be provided for the hire period
Please return any equipment used back to its storage area after use unless already set up prior to hire.
The hirer is responsible for any damage caused to the premises or equipment and must pay the total amount required to make good any such damage. Any breakages must be reported.
Dogs must be kept on leads and under appropriate control at all times. Dogs are not allowed to run free around the site under any circumstances and are restricted to the car park area only. It is the responsibility of the dog owner to pick up dog mess.
All hirers must bring someone with them or provide contact details in case of emergency.
Keep gates shut at all times.
Please be aware this is a working farm so expect machinery machinery, livestock and equines.​
